PB&J Garden
The PB&J Garden honors a wonderful mom who made many homemade jams and jellies. As mom's do, she always wanted us to eat healthy and enjoy our food, including our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Thanks, mom!
Take a look at all the plants growing here and think of all the great jellies that could be made and all the wonderful PB&J sandwiches you could eat.
Be sure to check out these children's books about peanut butter and jelly.
- Jam and Jelly by Holly and Nellie by Michigan author Gloria Whelan and illustrator Gijsbert Van Frankenhuyzen
- Bread and Jam for Francis by Russel Hoban and Lilian Hoban
- Peanut Butter & Jelly by Nadine Bernard Wescott
When you visit the garden you can read these books in the Garden House.
