To deliver the quality programs that we are know for, requires lots of people. The only way we can do this is through our dedicated and awesome group of volunteers.

If you are someone that loves working with children and are passionate about plants, consider signing up to volunteer in the 4-H Children's Gardens." Docents are needed to lead field trips and to interpret the garden for visitors on the weekend.

Our docents come from all sorts of backgrounds and with all types of experiences. They are an amazing and awesome group of people!

You don't need any special trainig to volunteer with us, but we will provide you with whatever training you want and feel you need. Often we pair new docents with one of our seasoned veterans to "learn the ropes".

We also have docent meetings every couple of months to hear speakers, go on field trips and enjoy food together. We all learn from each other and enjoy the great company.
